Flowers Macro | October 2013

Flowers Macro | October 2013

 Flower Macro
For one of my intermediate black and white photography assignments we had to shoot macro. I don't have a macro lens for either my SLR or DSLR camera so I did the Poor Man's macro way on my DSLR (to not waste any b&w film). The poor man's way is where you take your lens off your DSLR or SLR camera and flip it the wrong way round. They make these rings where you can attach your lens to your camera the wrong way but I didn't have that when I took these photos. I just held the camera and lens together. It was pretty tricky to get the exposure correct at first but after playing around I think I got it.

I want to explore more with macro. Maybe invest in a macro lens or just the ring to reverse my lens. I'll be sure to update you with other photos when I do them!
Take care,
