Adventures in LA: Feb 2014
My Family
and I went to a taping of @midnight the other day up Los Angeles. We
didn't want to drive the 4 hours there and back just for the show taping
so we decided to make a day of it and head up a few hours early to
explore around LA some as well.
Once we got to LA we were all hungry and made a quick stop to Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles.
After
lunch, we had a few hours before having to head to the studio for
@midnight so we headed over to The Last Bookstore. The Last Bookstore is
a massive bookstore with pretty much every book, records, and art. I
was quite overwhelmed with the whole place and didn't know where to
start looking so I didn't end up getting any books.

Next stop on the list for this LA trip was Whimsic Alley. This place is pretty cool! There is a ton of Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones and fantasy goodies. I only bought a postcard for one of my friends because some of the stuff was a little over priced.

After
Whimsic Alley we made our way to the studio @midnight was at. (There
are no picture of this due to the fact no cameras or phones were aloud
in the studio) But the show was a lot of fun! Everyone was hilarious on
the show. This was the 3rd show taping I've been to and it was probably
my favorite. I hope to go back and do it again.
Ended the day before driving back to San Diego getting some chicken teriyaki from Sarku japan at some random mall in Culver City. Its been years since I've has Sarku and it was very yummy!
