Lumpia

Lumpia
  
 
*Ingredients:
1 Pound Ground Turkey (can also use ground hamburger, or ground pork)
1 Package Spring Roll Shells (found at Asian Markets)
2 Eggs
1 -2 Cups Shredded Carrots and Cabbage (depends on how much veggies you want)
about 1/2 cup Soy Sauce (Season to taste)
about 1 teaspoon Onion Powder, about 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder,  about 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper (Season to taste)
 **NOTE: ONE EGG PER ONE POUND OF MEAT**

 
 Close up on the spring roll shells packaging.

 *Supplies needed:
Frying pan
bowl
small bowl
tongs
oil
plate



 Put Cabbage, carrots, 1lb Ground turkey, 1 egg, seasonings and soy sauce into bowl
 With clean hands, mix together
 What it looks like all combined
 take 1 egg and small bowl and beat (used for finishing off rolls)
 Carefully peel Spring Roll Shells apart (make sure the are completely thawed out)
Place on shell on plate and fold up bottom corner
 Grab some meat mixture and spread evenly across bottom on Spring Roll Shell
 Fold corner over
 Roll up from bottom and tuck under
 Continue to roll until there is only one corner left
use fingers and dip in egg 
then coat the remaining corner of Spring Roll Shell with egg
 Finish rolling and press down last corner
 Continue the rolling processes until all meat mixture is used.

Put oil in frying pan, put on med to med-hi heat
 when oil is hot slowly add Lumpia one at a time
 cook for 2-5 mins until golden brown
 place on a plate with paper towel
 let cool and serve!!
